Our Holiday Wish to You!

It is a magical time of year and we all have many things to be thankful for!

On behalf of all of us at Norris Public Power and our Board of Directors, we are proud to be lighting up your holiday season.

Please remember to safely place your Christmas tree and decorations away from fireplaces, candles, space heaters and other heat sources. And also check extension cords to make sure they're not worn or broken.

We extend our wishes to you and your families for a very blessed Christmas and a bountiful new year.

Wanted: Future Linemen

Each year Norris Public Power District offers a $1,500 Electric Lineman Training scholarship to a student who has been accepted into the Utility Line Program at Northeast Community College and who meets the following requirements:


• Graduated High School within the past two years

• Upper 50% of the graduating class

• Parents are customers of Norris Public Power District

Scholarship applications for the 2011-2012 year should be completed and returned to Norris Public Power District by December 31, 2010.
