Rebate Program
The Norris District offers several rebate incentive programs for our customers who wish to become more energy efficient. Rebate incentives are available to any Norris Public Power customer and are issued in the form of a credit on the customer’s monthly electric bill.
Please follow the links below for more information about the residential rebate incentive programs available. Please note that projects must be installed and operational during the corresponding rebate incentive year to be elgible for the programs offered.
2012 Residential Rebate Programs
HomeEnergySuite
Norris offers a variety of tools to assist homeowners in reducing their energy consumption. Our online HomeEnergyCalculator is available to you 24/7 and allows you to conduct your own energy audit in the comfort of your home. The HomeEnergySuite includes an InteractiveEnergyHome designed to help you understand where and how energy is used in your home, an Appliance Calculator that can provide you with estimates of your energy use based on inputs you choose, and a Home Energy Library to assist you with every question you may have. If you have additional questions on your home's energy use after taking advantage of the HomeEnergySuite, the Norris District also offers free home energy audits for all residential customers. Home Energy Audits include an in-person analysis of your home and provide customers with a variety of suggestions on reducing energy consumption.

Nebraska Energy Office Resources
The Nebraska Energy Office has found a number of different resources that excel in providing the latest in federal tax credits or incentives for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. In addition, the Nebraska Energy Office also offers low interest loans for a variety of different projects.
