Norris Public Power District places an extreme emphasis on safety and education for not only our employees but our customers as well. Norris' employees are actively involved in the Rural Electric Safety Accreditation Program whose goals are to preserve life and to prevent injuries; to establish electric utility safety and loss control standards; to recognize our employees who work everyday to maintain a safe work environment; and to compliment our mission of reliable electrical service for our customers.
In an effort to keep our customers educated on the dangers of electricity, Norris offers many different programs and demonstrations for all age groups free of charge. Services provided by Norris include Safety Demonstrations, School Presentations and Materials, Youth Energy Camp, Power Drive and an annual Lineman Scholarship to Northeast Community College.
